Looking for the perfect cocktail to serve at your next Halloween gathering? The Poison Apple Martini will do the trick! The smoke and edible glitter work together to create an enchanting appearance, while the apple cider, pomegranate juice, and maple syrup combine perfectly into a flavor that just tastes like fall!
This cocktail will be the star of any Fall or Winter occasion this season. It can be served at Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc. and all you’d have to do is change the name. The glitter adds an elegant and enchanting look, but even without glitter, the combination of pomegranate juice and apple cider makes this the perfect Holiday cocktail!
As any smoked cocktail recipe goes, you can smoke just the liquor, or the fully mixed drink. With this specific cocktail, I suggest smoking smoking the liquor by itself before mixing the drink. Make sure to smoke the glass for an added effect before serving! OR you can mix this drink without any smoke. It’s your party, you can do what you want to!
I even added a sugar rim and an apple slice for a garnish. You can get creative with the garnishes depending on the occasion. Maybe some pomegranate seeds or a cinnamon stick!
2 ounces apple vodka or vodka
2 tablespoons spiced apple cider
2 tablespoons pomegranate juice
1-2 teaspoons of real maple syrup
Edible glitter (optional)
Apple slice (optional garnish)
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the cider, pomegranate juice, vodka, maple, and edible gold glitter. Shake to mix.
For the Sugar the rim: line the rim of the martini glass with some maple syrup and place the rim into sugar or cinnamon sugar.
Strain into the martini glass. The glitter can sometimes settle at the bottom, just give it a gentle stir if needed.
Add an apple slice as a garnish (optional).
