I received this product for Christmas as a gift and love using it. It does make the whiskey taste to the smokey flavor of the chips that is listed on the jar. I am still working on improving my use of the smoking process but enjoying this everytime I use it. I would highly recommend product to any whisky drinkers. Great job guys!
I bought this set for my husband for Christmas after doing hours of reviews on the best way to smoke an old fashioned. This kit is the most versatile and compact kit for what it offers and it produces some tremendous cocktails! (Much better than the cup/topper/smoker options). Love this company and the products are proudly made in US!
My wife gifted this to me and at first I thought it was a gimmick. To appease her I immediately tried to use the kit but you need a butane refill for the torch that's in the kit(it comes empty for shipping purposes). So I ran out and got a refill. When I came back I used the kit with apple wood chips(included) and was surprised how well it smoked the bourbon. Everything in the kit is well made and the bag makes bringing it to gatherings easy.

This is great. Everything you need in one kit. The bag makes it easy to take it to other places and the best part about the bag is that it's not a tiny bag that barely fit everything, it has extra space to for other tools and bottles. The variety of chips is also nice to mix and match with different drinks. Only issue I had was with the torch. When I try and fill it up with butane, it shoots, turns to liquid and pools up and gets all over the place.
